The technological process of the plant takes advantage of the most modern technical, technological and organisational solutions. The whole production process is conducted with the use of numerically controlled machine tools constructed on the basis of the most recent numerical technology that are supported by systems of the CAD/CAM type, namely Unigraphics and Alpha Cam.
We use the following materials to manufacture of forming moulds: alloy and ductile cast irons, bronze and nickel alloys and alloy steels. During the production process the materials are subject to additional procedures by surfacing them with metallic powders. It aims at improving quality and extending life of the forming elements. A mould prepared in such a way gives a possibility of manufacturing a top quality product and reduces unit production costs. Stresses occurring in the surfacing process are eliminated during additional heat treatment.
Such materials are subject to further finishing with the use of high-speed centres where operations of milling, lathing and pressure drilling with gun drills are performed.
The stable temperature of drives and a spindle enables us to manufacture details with maximum accuracy. The processing of details involves cooling with the use of lubricating and cooling emulsion which also contributes to obtaining details of the required accuracy.
